Daisuke, A visiting H2 pilot is here with his pulse and would also like to go out this weekend. Looks light and S. Any takers?

I'm out. I have a yoga teacher training clinic all weekend.

Posted in reply to David's note on the visiting H-2 pilot who would like to fly this weekend...

Some of us other H-2's would like to fly this weekend, too. (Matt Young and I both posted inquiries this week about any hang observer flying on Thurs, or Friday. No luck. OK, admittedly, fewer folks flying anywhere on weekdays.) But I am not yet seeing any active (also resident on this continent) observers declaring for this weekend, and observers are few! A couple of dedicated observers (bless 'em) have advised "nay", busy/etc. Leaves hopes meager. But if someone solves the observer issue for Daisuke, have him contact one of us for a possible collective run to a mountain. John mob: 703/ 226-9066 (mine may be off; try Matt also: 703/ 862-3327)

Woodstock may be flyable today, Friday. Not sure if I will go out. High clouds seem to be moving in at the moment. Saturday looks like Dickey's may work.

Re Training hills: Hope to teach at Taylors on Sunday. Oregon Ridge might be OK on Saturday morning to early afternoon.

Sunday was a pretty good day at Taylors. More like a spring day with warm temps, little thermals blowing through, wind speed 2-8 mph and blue skys. Students Andrew, Vitaly and Dan had plenty of flights. Bob Peterman also attending flew real nice and I did 9 flights. On Saturday I spent a couple of hours mowing at Smithsburg.
