Thinking of dragging the plumbing down to Taylor's on Sunday (and the bags). Anyone else interested?

I was there today and experienced some of the trashiest air I've ever flown in- mix of gusty surface winds and thermals. Could hardly carry the glider up the hill it was so switchy. I hope it's better for you tomorrow.

The shorthand report at 8:00 am I see is, "Partly sunny. Highs in the upper 60s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph."

The sun and temperature look very attractive; however an expected gust factor of 60% to 150% makes me wonder if the conditions will be a repeat of the unpleasant experience Jesse reported yesterday.

Considering and waffling, for now.

I will be going down to Taylors today (Sunday) to mow and probably fly some. ETA 12:00 ish

We are waffling too - probably more towards the not going side.

Bob Peterman and I both flew HG but it was a little windier than Saturday. It's amazing that the air at the bottom of the hill can be 3 - 7 mph but at the top be 10 - 20 mph. Bob did one flight low and 4 from the top and I did 2 from the top. Mostly not enjoyable flying air! Also did a fair bit of kiting toward the bottom around 3:00 and a lot of mowing.
