New Paraglider pilot relocated from Germany

Post by jmcclave »

I relocated from Germany a week ago and I just joined the club. I have flown in Europe for 18 months and I have my German A license. I am starting the process to get this crossed over to the U.S. P2 rating and I hope to get some flying in with you folks this fall. See you soon!

Welcome Jim. What kind of flying have you been doing and where?

Hi Jim,
im a P2 too, looking to fly in the region after some great weeks of flying in the west. I have plenty of time and a car, so I can join you. Keep me posted.

Hello Matt,

I have been flying for 18 months in Germany, Austria, Italy, France, and Switzerland. I have a little over 140 flights in with longer thermal and ridge soaring flights in the mix. I took a SIV course in Gardasee, Italy this summer (asymmetric and full collapses, wingovers, spirals, full stalls, ...). I'd put myself in the advanced beginner category (enthusiastic but still has a lot to learn). I'm looking forward to continuing my flying back here. I got with Peter Humes today to start the process of converting my A license over to the U.S. P2 rating.
I hope to fly with you folks soon.
Jim

Guy,
I'm looking forward to flying with you after I get my license converted to the P2 rating. See you soon.
Jim
