Oregon Ridge update

Good news! If you don't know by now...all the bull crap is down. Gone are the fences, ropes, trash cans, picnic tables and outhouses. Also gone is that pesky tree down by the lower parking lot.....the one growing real close to the little square masonry building that was for the old chair lift motor. This should clean up the airflow somewhat as you fly into the lower parking lot on any approach. Nice. It either was taken down or blew down in the recent storms but in any case its gone and thats a good thing.

( now if only those pine trees would somehow go away too.... lol. Anybody have the number for B. Umstead? LOL ).

PS: any word on Smithsburg? And.....what was planted in the LZ this year?
