Can kids come? Any idea what the bar's policy is on the age challenged? - Linda

21 and over. This is a real honest to God bar, not a restaurant. Kids will not be allowed in I'm pretty sure.

Sorry, Linda (others), Chris is right on this one: all comers must be
+21. That said, I'll be much more comfortable flirting with you if your
daughters aren't there to critique my form. Hope you can make it.

Can't make it---sorry! I'll be down at the beach with extended family (can't avoid that obligation). It's "high family vacation season." I think the billiards bar is an awesome idea though!

Oh, will my girls ever be pissed at missing out! They had so much fun with you guys at the Mother's Day dinner we had after my first soaring flight: let's see: Charlotte found Brian V-H to be fun, and Olivia found Daniel to be interesting. Regardless of how you fella's felt about the chatter! :D :o

Flying on Friday 7/22

Post by randyweber7 »

Looks like a light NNW day tomorrow. Is anybody going to the mountains to
fly? Yesterday I opted for Raven's Roost on the Blue Ridge Parkway ( a 6
to 1 glide to lz ). I managed an extendo, Rich Lawrence got up and soared.
I broke one of the main creeds of soaring and payed for it. When low,
never leave lift. Looks like tomorrow might be a High Rock day. Thought I
might make the extended drive, if somebody is going.
By the way, the unisys meteogram looks like Saturday might be a
Woodstock day.
