Might be a Dickey's day on Saturday. Any takers?

Forecast looks a iffy for Dickey's today, a bit south to southeast. Blue Sky might be a better choice but I cannot go there today.
I will still take a look at Dickey's if someone wants to hike in and hope for the best.

I'm planning to go to Daniels. Bringing my bushwhacking tools as well.

Great group at Daniels today: Jim, Erick, Ben, Randy, Laszlo, Jono, Petr all got good flights. Lift was abundant. Randy flew the hang glider first then broke out the PG as the sky got more overcast later in the day. Another PG pilot named John showed up in the LZ and kited, but needs to renew his ratings before he can fly.
Several got a couple hours. Jim launched first at 12:30 into an elevator and I immediately followed him. I found the lift easy and smooth so I drifted over the back. I managed to get 2:30 hours and 14 miles before landing at Wolftown! Along the way I had a low save at 1200 ft. msl and managed to core it back to cloudbase at 5000 ft msl. Man that was sweet. I landed in a hay field and the farmer and 3 kids came over to chat. They mentioned there used to be a hang launch on the mountain I bombed out next to. I had an easy 10 minute hike to the gas station where I immediately got a ride back to the LZ! What a day!

Thinking about going again tomorrow!
