Is tomorrow (Thurs) a Bill's day?

Post by John Anderson »

Seems I saw a NE 5--10 mph for tomorrow. This should make Bill's Hill flyable, if not necessarily soarable? If I go, would be doing more H-2 hang tune-ups. if anyone interested-- esp fellow H-2's in practice mode?-- I would be another LZ-launch ferry vehicle. Mercury levels down to mid-80's, too. Thoughts? --John

NE turning E later in the day, so yes, flyable. And with low percentage of cloud cover it could be soarable! Too bad I'm at work! Good luck if you go.

Matt-- No takers and thus no other ferry folk, so I pulled the plug. Yep, today would have worked at Bill's. Last time I was there a couple of the PG gang skied out there, so I m convinced by the site. Thanks for commiseration. --J

Bill's is an easy and pretty obvious hike up (though the last couple hundred yards you have to bushwack). That said, it's always a good idea to NOT fly alone.
