.. Dr. Jack has the peninsula looking stunning for a flying day this Friday with light NW winds, 500 ft/min thermals, 6K CB and lift poissible to 8K. NOAA is a wee bit less optimistic so I'm going to go with Dr. Jack' call

Fun day....... Took a couple nicely extended flights with small climbs. Worked on trying to crank and bank in tight thermals.......a little progress but more work needed
There were nice clouds all around us just not always within reach........the wind started cranking toward the middle of the afternoon, both on the ground and aloft.......which would have made chasing thermals too far downwind the potential start of an unplanned xc flight. Good day to be out flying and nice to hang out and chat with other pilots.
