Very interested! The NoStepper BLIPMAP indicates that the thermals will be better at Woodstock.

Definitely hoping to get in the air tomorrow!!! Will check latest weather in the AM by 0800 and post here. Anybody else interested??? Ward you still interested???
Maybe Woodstock (could be on the light side and not sure about LZ grass/corn growth status) Maybe the Puplit (although the north in the Pulpit forecast concerns me a bit), Maybe High Rock (Amy really wants to fly here but needs an Observer)

Lets Fly :) :)

Once again! The flying forecast for the Pulpit has changed overnight (good -> bad). They are now showing light due north winds in the AM and 20 plus NNW in the PM after the front passes. Based on this revolting forecast development, we have decided not to fly today.

Pulpit is a H2 with Observer required site.

Is this really necessary? Do you really think that Amy and Jon do NOT know that the Pulpit is a H2 with observer site? Do you really think Amy would go to a site and commit a bandita flight?  NFW. Give them the benefit of the doubt and a little more credit than that. :P I feel like Chris Carter on the NFL pregame show - C'mon Man. Bacil

I posted the info in response to Jon's previous post that said--

Maybe the Puplit (although the north in the Pulpit forecast concerns me a bit), Maybe High Rock (Amy really wants to fly here but needs an Observer)

Lets Fly
Jon

******
Jon's post indicated that he knew that an Obsever was required for High Rock but did not indicate that he knew that an Observer was required for Pulpit.

Just to clarify:

I have been in the past well aware of AND compliant with the h2 w/observer requirement for the pulpit.......many times. I still am aware of and very respectful of that requirement and didn't forget it when I made my post yesterday.
The original post and flying request was started by Amy, looking for an observer and "REALLY wanting to fly High Rock". She has wanted to fly High Rock in the past but everybody always goes to the Pulpit or Woodstock, hence making it difficult for her to find an observer for High Rock..........which is why there was a specific mention of an Observer for High Rock and not the other sites........by the way I also know that Woodstock is an H2 with observer site.

In the future ,if you feel like a serious infringement like breaking a site rule such as this might be occurring by three (Ward, Amy and I) not brand new members of the club, then maybe a phone call or PM to one of them to get clarification and more information would be more appropriate??????

thanks,
Jon

This was my fault. I thought that the wording was unclear for any other H2's that might be reading the server. There was no accusation towards anyone directly - just a statement of fact.

Huh?????

Here's what I orignally posted--

Pulpit is a H2 with Observer required site.

***** WHERE IS THERE AN ACCUSATION IN THIS SIMPLE STATEMENT????

Here is what I posted in response to Bacil's comments—

Jon's post indicated that he knew that an Observer was required for High Rock but did not indicate that he knew that an Observer was required for Pulpit.

***** I never said that Jon did not know that Pulpit was a H2 Observer Required site. I said that his post DID NOT INDICATE that he knew this.

Again, no accusations.

As Karen stated, I was just putting up some info about a site to make things clear for anyone reading the forum.

Geesh!!! The paraglider pilots didn’t get upset when I noted that Pulpit was P2 Observer required site a couple of weeks ago.
