New H3

Post by mcelrah »

Achtung! And let the record reflect that Jon Brantley this day, having met all the requirements and survived - nay, aced! - the written exam, and listened politely to my flying stories - has been granted the Intermediate Hang-glider Rating, with all the rights and privileges appertaining thereto. He should be accorded suitable groveling and obeisance from the remaining novices - y'all are encouraged to advance with all deliberate speed (Goldilocks: not too hot/fast, not too cold/slow) to get your ratings, too. Congratulations, Jon! This is quite an accomplishment. - Hugh

Years ago, Steve Wendt gave me sage advice - when you go to a new site, especially out of region, treat it as if you were a H2, no matter how great your H3 or H4 experience. The locals and regulars know stuff about the site you can never figure out by just looking around and launching,

That said, ATTABOY, JON!!!!!
You've worked hard to reach this level. Go forth, and FLY!
