In regards to comparing the relative performance of gliders versus pilot
skill.....I just heard that Bo Hagewood knocked off about 200 miles in a
Falcon. Serious tail wind.

Dratted Bo. I was greasing up the wing to take on Pete; now I'm gonna
have to wait for a hurricane too.

Forget the hurricane, this was done on a typical Zapata day. I don't think
the day was even that good. Just a nice tail wind.
