teach me to drive stick?

Any of you folks with a manual transmission want to teach me how to drive stick?

I've never really had a good opportunity to really get comfortable with it and I'd like to. Plus, if you ever need a retrieve in your vehicle, I'd be able to help you out. I learn quickly and am willing to offer some compensation ($$ and XC retrieval) for your time and the minor wear and tear on your vehicle.

I'm sure since it's looking good for the pulpit this weekend I'm sure scads of people will be wanting to trade a lesson for a retrieve. Unfortunately my car has a rough idle right now, which is not good for first time stick drivers, or I'd be impressing you into service myself.
