Re: Rock Tuesday
I think today would have been as good - and more a westerly component - but a day with other people to fly with makes tomorrow a better day! I will be there as well.

Re: Rock Tuesday
i might will show up, if for no other reason than to stroll up and down those awesome steps. i guess people will post when they expect to be there…
btw, did you all notice steve in the pictures of the manly men doing the work on the steps? just looking at that young whipper snapper busting hump made my back hurt (the ole blankety blank).

As of now I am going to head to the rock after work. Hoping to get up there around 5:30.

Looking more north than I would like, especially later in the day, but still doable. So I think it is still a go.

GWS(goes without saying): as i won't be flying, my only impetus to be there is if there are others going to be flying...

Well it was a sweet day for Steve. Valerie and I got entendos / momentary soaring flights. Steve managed to get what looked like a thousand over and an hour flying. Glen launched later after the dark clouds moved east and was still soaring when I left.
Thank you Gary for the launch assist and for coming out to get everyone launched. I owe you a drink or two next time. If you come to Woodstock when I am home I have beer ready and cold at my house in Strasburg.
The steps are great! Thank you to everyone who worked on the project.
My favorite site maintenance launch, Woodstock, looks quite good at the moment. No necessary maintenance needed this year it appears. Amazing what annual efforts yeild.
