Friday High Rock Volunteers needed

Post by Richard Hays »

Just spoke with Glen. He's heading up there now to finish forms. Tomorrow is the day for the last cement pour. Volunteers needed. Anticipated time to arrive would be around 12 noon.

I would suggest calling Glen before you head out and / or if weather is questionable. 443-414-5175. Ask him if you should bring some spare buckets, shovels or even a wheelbarrow if you can get one up there. But ask the boss first. LOL.

So....Friday, May 27th. See you there.

* if you don't think you can contribute; think again. Think Amish. If ya' can't build the barn...you could build a sandwich or provide ice tea and lemonade for those that are. Beer also sounds good for AFTERWARDS. lol. Or.....come up with some contractor garbage bags for area cleanup. Or....

I hope this went well. I was sick as a dog or I would've gone.

It went well. Glen, Smitty, Richard and I. We hauled buckets and buckets and did 3 more steps. One more to go.

Much more ambitious project than I imagined. I thought we would just build a new step under the existing but Glen is replacing all the steps. It will be much easier to get up onto the ramp. Which leads to a question: Where are we on the Dan Tuck new ramp idea.? Are we still doing that?
