Hi, All,
I've been lurking around these boards for a while and wanted to finally introduce myself. My name is Patrick and I'm moving back to VA after having spent some time in the UK. While I was in the UK I got licensed as a BHPA paragliding CP which is the equivalent of a P2. I have an IPPI card but since I'm actually moving back here and not just visiting I'm looking to get a USHPA rating as well.
I've PMed the observers on this board, but at any rate I'm looking forward to finding other PG pilots out there in the area and hopefully seeing you out on the hills sometime soon!
All the best,
P

Welcome Patrick! We've had some screwy weather lately. Hopefully things will shape up soon and we can fly together.

I'll echo Matt's welcome Patrick, great to hear of another PG pilot joining our community! I hope that you find our area sites a lot of fun to fly, and that you'll have many hours of soaring this spring and throughout the year.
Cheers,
MarkC

Patrick-- Greetings, welcome to our flying spas. I'm just getting back to some of our local sites after long overseas absence. Could be we'll want to hook up to fly sometime. Give me a call. --John 703/938-0735

Hi Patrick,
I'm one of the few PG instructors in region 9. Call me and I can help you with a P-2 sign-off. 304-five nine six-7277.

Re: Introduction
Looks like a Hallam Hill (training hill just east of York, PA) day on Saturday. I'm busy with other commitments. But that's where I'd go if I were flying.
Probably heading to Ridgely to fly HG on Sunday.
