Another introduction

Post by Jono »

Hello!

I wanted to introduce myself my name is Jono (short for Jonathan). I am a H3/H4 HG pilot and a P1 PG pilot. (I moved to the DC metro area from Chattanooga, TN in the middle of last
year when I was about 5 check flights + the exam away from getting my P2! Very frustrating! I plan to finish up my P2 this Summer - any PG instructors out there?). I think that I may have met some of you at Lookout Mountain Flight Park over the years.
Anyway, I hope to get out to a training hill sometime with some of your observer PG pilots to practice (I will PM the Observers).

Looking forward to flying with you.

Welcome Jono! We met on twitter. Check out the USHPA site for PG instructors here. Unfortunately there are none in the immediate area.

Saturday looks good for a training hill in Fredericksburg called Taylor Hill. A group of hang gliders including myself will likely be taking lessons there on Saturday, but you're welcome to fly your PG.

I know Jono. A rockin' good pilot and a nice guy. He's an asset to the club.

Hi Jono,
I'm a PG instructor located in Charles Town,WV. In PG terms, this is "the immediate area". Call me, we can meet at Taylor Hill next weekend, if you're ready for a sign-off, let me know.

We now have Peter! Charlestown, WV is only about 1hr away from DC. Peter can you email or pm me your instructor website/info and I can work on updating the various lists etc. There are several people that contact the club looking for PG instruction.
