Seeing SE ~5-8 at Daniels for today. Looks good for it. Is there anyone that is interested in heading down?

Also, SE ~10mph at Bill's Hill until 6PM then straight in and light (~4mph).
Be a nice evening ride.

nice sled ride at Daniels. A little bouyant puff blowing straight in. a little misty at launch, but cloudbase was just high enough for fine visibility.
thanks, Hugh for observing . A great way to spend a Sat.

Completely clouded out at Fisher Road. That will teach me to check METAR for cloud ceiling next time. Just found a cool iPhone app called Pilot MyCast specifically for personal aviation that includes metar. It was cold and gusting to 16mph. I spent an hour clearing some brush. We're gonna need a weedwacker before the end of spring.

showing up on an iffy forecast doesn't haVe to imply that one is bonkers. it can obviously be time well spent, particularly if prepared and properly outfitted. good man

Didn't know Fisher Road was open. Is this a bandito site?

Kinda needs to be a day you can run the ridge where there's unlimited landing options. The bailout fields are bandito.

It is officially closed. Has been since around '08. Anybody launching there is assuming the risk of sinking out into the banned 3 landing areas that were the main, secondary, and tertiary LZs when it was fully open. Bacil
