Upper level disturbances are predicted to ripple thru the area on Friday night into Saturday. Not trying to put a damper on the enthusiasm but upper level disturbances tend to wreak havoc (initiate hang waiting) on flying plans when they are active. Late Sunday PM is looking like a nicer window and a late day throttleback in the winds at Woodstock. Bacil

Yeah, Saturday at Woodstock is looking pretty strong, but the morning forecast for the Pulpit looks possible. If we have an observer, perhaps we could make plans to try for the Pulpit early and bail to Smithsburg if it's blown out. What do you think?

Ovecast, 50% chance of rain/snow. Doesn't look very promising today at WS.

looks like it's going to be a good weekend to kick back and fly the couch. Good luck at Smithsburg, Chris.
