No man, no shows. This is the second largest casino in the US but not like Vegas. This is for serious gamblers!

I am not sure if an official RSVP list has been developed... but, count me in for the clinic... and some gamblin' afterwords! Thanks,

What about horse racing? You know there is a track there too. Yeah, when it comes to gambling, the house always wins! But the horses? I have been known to make educated bets, and won! Ok Hugh, I'm starting the RSVP list now. Also, do we want lunch that day in between the HG/PG sessions?

Yup, Sallie and I are in - also for the horses (kinda comes with the territory for two natives of Louisville KY). Flat or trotting? Do we get to play dress up, like for the Derby? Yes, lunch! Catering included in clinic fee? - Hugh

For lunch I was thinking something easy like; Pad Thai (made by my Thai wife-very authentic), salad, and grilled chicken(for the carnivores). We can probably pull that together for $6.-8.per person. Bring your own beverages. Remember we're caterers and my job is on the barn property. I would appreciate it too, if we could do the PG session in the morning, as I must work that day and my lunch shift is easier to flake-on than dinner.

Yum! It was in the front of my mind that you cater. Betty said that she would do it all at once, HG and PG. I know this will distress some - perhaps we can provide some germicidal gel to get rid of the cooties...

What would be the 'hours' of the clinic: when would it start and end? Gotta line up child care. Not sure how long it will take me to drive to and from Harpers Ferry... By the way, is there an address for the location, so I can get directions?

Thanks,
Ann

Sucks, but Jodie and I will be out of town that weekend. Looks like I'm missing a once-in-a-decade opportunity.

The Octagon Barn is at: 667 Huyett Rd., Charles Town, WV 25414

This is the beginning of the discussion, but I would guess hours would be mid-morning to mid-afternoon.

Awsome. Thanks Hugh! Just wondering, I know it's early, something to think about...Should we send money ahead of time to the club for the event/lunch, or just write a check when we get there? Will event and lunch cost be combined or separate?

'Twould be good to get money up front to lock people in. (Need to appoint a treasurer.) I was thinking we could make lunch and clinic a package. What do you think? - Hugh

Hugh-What about Carlos W., isn't he the club treasurer? If not, I volunteer as the ad hoc treasurer.

Betty wants to be there the day before (Friday) then I think she wants to start as earlier as possible 8:00-9:00am, the clinic will be 8-10hrs long. Wew have most of what she needs, but she did request a old control bar. I don't have that, anyone else have an old control bar?
