Seperate boards for flying reports and arranging to meet?

Post by davidtheamazing1 »

I know this thingy is new, but I would like to have "flying reports" and making "flying arrangements" separate from the main on-topic discussion.

That way we don't have to get messages during the week about who is going to high rock, woodstock, etc since some of us have to go to work. (its not fair!) The rest of us can go check it on fridays to see what sites are in fashion, or we can still get everything by subscribing to it.

Also after a weekend of being sick in bed, I might not want to read about all of the XC people that went up in wave to 10,000 ft, flew with a flock of pterodactyls and landed on the beach.

Just an idea.

My own preference is to have the main flying forum deal
with both aspects : plans to, and post-facto reports of.

As you mentioned, it might be a bit early for a poll. Why
don't we see how things shake out once we've made the
push for everyone to switch from folkriver.com ?

(remember, separate forums/listservs for non-flying fun,
gear for sale, and general discussion is already a big step
forward from the everything-with-one-list at folkriver....)
