Hi,
I'm a UK paraglider pilot (P4) and spending an increasing amount of time in DC. I see the forecast for this weekend looks possible. Is anyone going out this weekend? I see a mention of Woodstock? Any good for a paraglider or hangies only?
Many thanks for any help, and hope to meet some of you at the weekend.
Felix

Hi Felix,
I'm an H-2 and like light conditions. Woodstock is about an hour and a half from DC. It is forecast to be NW (perfect direction for that site) and about 7mph (good for PG). Woodstock is good for PG I believe. It is a slot launch. It could be lighter winds than forecasted as this is a local effect. I am hoping to get an observer there for this Saturday.
Hope to get to meet you.
