At the moment it looks like a strong SW day on Saturday, so I'm hoping that Sunday might be good somewhere. Might be one of those "strong to the north, light to the south" kind of days, but then again, it's only Friday night so who knows. Pulpit? High Rock? Woodstock? Ante-up your wings and place your bets!
(WIll still take a look Sat AM, you never know.... But I'm leaning towards Sunday based on what I see tonight.)
What's everyone else thinking?

Re: Flying on Sunday March 13?
Sunday right now is looking like the better of the 2 days this weekend..I do see cloudiness off to the west that might move into the Mtns at some point during the day on Sunday..Winds appear to be wsw here in central va for Sunday and It may turn out to be a decent day with thermal forcasted to be moderately strong in the costal plains..At blue Sky it still maybe a bit tricky with winds crossing the runway almost 90 degrees but if the winds die down a bit more than forecasted and turn a bit more south it could end up being a good day..In the mtns it looks like you will probably have a westerly cross at woodstock with stronger thermal conditions predicted..Where ever you go have fun fly safe...

We ceased operations at the sailplane club in Front Royal Saturday due to strong SW crosswind. - Hugh

I might be able to make Woodstock tomorrow by 5 or 5:30pm if an observer is willing to help with a late flight. Betting on that extra hour of day light!

My vote is for Woodstock … but will follow the consensus.
