First, thanks to all of you who have paid up for this year already. I have a handful of checks to deposit so if yours hasn't cleared yet, it will. Your money is going to good use such as site insurance and the Pulpit launch improvements last year. This year, we will be rehabiliting the High Rock launch and there are more things in the pipeline. Please take a moment and send in your check so I don't have to come lookin' for you. Unless your info has changed from last year, there's no need to fill out the form, just send me your cash! Click this link for the renewal form and mail-to address - http://www.chgpa.org/ClubInfo/chgpa.memb_info.html
Thanks in advance and I look forward to seeing you all in the air soon!
2010 Membership Dues : New On-Line Forms

Re: 2010 Membership Dues : New On-Line Forms
Although we are not yet supporting on-line CHGPA dues payment, we have implemented a form that allows you to submit your club membership information to Dan, so that he can maintain the club roster more easily.
A second dues-payment form is also available : You still have to print that one out, and then send it to Dan with your check... But at least we can collect all of your contact info without the hassles of hard-copy.
Please visit the CHGPA Membership Information page for more details about how to join/renew using the new forms.
I've done a fair amount of testing, but not with all the browsers and OS's out there.... So if you use the new on-line form for submission of membership info, you might want to post in this topic and confirm that Dan received it.
Enjoy!

PS: I'm not even sure we really want to implement on-line payment . With the typical 4% bite that PayPal
takes, their fees would equate to 6 months of the web-hosting costs for chgpa.org each year. Hmmm...

Can we still use this form for 2011? Is there a club meeting March 10?

Re: 2010 Membership Dues : New On-Line Forms
I've been remiss by leaving this topic as a 'sticky' for too long....
We finally got the club roster straightened out in 2010 during Dan Tuck's tenure as Treasurer. And at the same time we also reverted to a simpler membership approach: one form to send contact info; and a second form that has to be filled out, printed, and then sent to the Treasurer along with a check for the club dues. So I figured that it couldn't hurt to keep this topic front-and-center for a while.
But now.... Our estimable Carlos has taken on the Treasurer's position (that darn Dan Tuck, absconding to SoCal for endless soaring, we shake our fists in his general direction ), and he is targeting March 1 to complete the 2011 CHGPA membership renewal campaign. So I think that this topic has served its purpose, and now must fade away!
Stay tuned for more info about the 2011 renewal campaign, and possibly a new sticky topic specifically for it.
(which, if past experience is a guide, will probably remain sticky for about 10 years, hee-hee-hee!)
