Smithsburg

Another nice day at Smithsburg. Sunny, warm(relatively), wnw 8-12. Excellent conditions for kiting and practicing launching & landings. Ward arrived at noon with his new glider and proceded to set-up. He had 1 nice flight with a long glide. Very boyant over cornfield/LZ. The ground is mostly snow covered, some mud, but alot of fun!

After being iced-out of the Pulpit (had to crawl on my hands and knees up the hill to takeoff), I arrived at the burg to see Peter soaring up and down the crest of the hill and decided to give my tip cameras a test on the Litespeed. Thankfully there were no surprises to its flying behavior. Here are some pics of the test flight.
