Daniel's Friday

Post by Matthew »

SSW 5-10 -- Temps in the mid 50s for Friday. Anyone thinking of Daniel's for New Year's Eve?

50 percent chance of rain on Saturday an Sunday.

Beautiful, warm sunny day at Daniels. Randy Weber and I made up the HG contingent and Matthew, Karen, Lazlo and some other PGers made up the PG contingent. I got two wonderful sled rides in. Not much in the way of lift, but the pretty day and smooth air more than made up for it. The view from launch is awesome there with the stacked peaks and ridges off to the southwest.....really cool! It felt really great to fly again after a a few weeks of work and weather getting in the way :) Here's hoping for more warm sunny days like today in the mountains!!
A big thank you to Matthew for observing me today! Also a big thanks to Amy for drivin the bumpy road when I know you weren't too keen on it :)

Congrats and Happy New Year to all who flew and to Jon for bagging a new site! (I'm in dreaded Florida with my brother cleaning up our mother's place.)
