I am taking the week off from work and saw that tomorrow is promising. It looks like a High Rock day if anyone is interested.

Re: Flying Wednesday
I'm considering flying too. However I'm looking at Woodstock for PG, although High Rock looks like a better bet for soaring conditions.

There is a slim chance I'll be able to get away.

I am headed up toward the Pulpit around 9ish, but will monitor posts to see if there is enough interest in the Rock.

Re: Flying Wednesday
I got there a little after 1:00 with Tom all set up and waiting. I wired him off in a bit of a north cross, and he flew easily while I leisurely set up. After picking him up an hour or so later, he wired me off for an extendo. If I'd hung around launch, I would've gotten up easily. But, as usual, I went down the ridge to opposite the primary where there wasn't any lift. While on final, just a few feet off the ground, I got windvaned about 30 degrees and my left wing lifted, so I landed without a flare. A little ugly, but no damage.
On the way home, I stopped for a sub at the little market in Lemasters, because I'd always wanted to. The place looks pretty much what you'd expect from the outside. But, I did notice a small collection of homemade sweets for sale.
It was a nice day to be in the mountains.
