Anyone want to start the HR fly-in early? Or try Woodstock?

I can't make Sat/Sun, unfortunately.

Looks like we might have a window at the Pulpit midday. I plan to get there mid morning and be set up and ready to go when Bacil gets there in the afternoon. Hopefully it won't go SW too early.

Sounds good Jesse, I'll see you at launch around 1130-1200.

Will check forecast in AM ... Crossing fingers I might get away from work and get to launch around 2:00.

Depends on the boss.

Arrived at Pulpit to find Jesse already there and Bacil on his way. Winds were coming straight in with a little north cross every now and again at about 10-12mph or so. By the time we set up and Bacil arrived, winds had decreased a little bit but were still coming in fairly nice straight cycles. Thank you Bacil for coming out and observing us H2's! Jesse launched first and had a nice ride down to the secondary. I launched shortly after. I found very little ridge lift but did run into a couple thermals, close to launch, that allowed me to get up to about 400ft over launch. I creeped down the ridge toward the primary finding little thermals here and there that extended my flight nicely. Landed in the primary LZ with light winds crossing a bit out of the north. Ended up with a sweet little 15 minute flight :D Amy graciously gave Jesse and I a ride back up top where we found Bacil set up and ready to go. The winds and thermal activity had died down quite a bit more by now and he had a nice relaxed ride down to the secondary. After picking him up in the LZ, we all headed to the restaurant/bar up at launch and had a burger and a beer. An awesome Friday afternoon........especially since I have to work tomorrow. Thank you again Bacil for supervising us!
