Hi everybody,
Just checking to see what people are thinking for flying this weekend. It looks very light, south with maybe some east in the mountains????
Does that put Jacks, Fisher Rd., or Bill's Hill on the table? Or is everyone just planning on heading to Ridgely?
Sunday looks like it may be the better of the days for the mountains....still light but a little more velocity than Saturday.
I'm game for any and all.

South- Daniel's is a lot closer to you, Jon. Btw, too bad you couldn't join us in beautiful Breezewood yesterday.
It was nice seeing you at Bill's though. And thank you and Carlos so much for the clean up!

I'm heading out to Ridgely again today. Will probably get there around 1 or 2 pm.
Seems like tomorrow something could work in the mountains.......somewhere? It is looking SSE at about 5-10mph in the Breezewood, PA region. Fisher Rd seems like it could be a top contender. On the CHGPA site guide for Fisher Rd it has written on top that the LZ is closed. Is this current? If so then how about Jacks or Bills Hill?
Daniels sounds great too Ellis, but I have never been. The site guide shows it as a S to SW site. Will it work in the apparent SSE winds? If so I am in.
Is anybody planning on flying the mountains tomorrow? Specifically observers?

Re: Saturday 11/13 and Sunday 11/14
Saturday at Ridgely was mostly sleds and extended sleds/little soaring. Joe G and I got to thermal/circle with a bald eagle which was pretty good but only lasted a few minutes. A beautiful day just not hardly any lift. Joe G, myself, Steve K, Jon B, Paul, Christian, and another were the solo pilots and a few tandems.

Had a couple flights at Ridgely today. With the help of a vario John M. let me borrow, I found some light lift over by the hangar (the one where they keep the dragonfly) which extended one of my sleds a little bit. Headed back over there for my second flight but all I found was sink. There was a couple of balloons that launched as well which was pretty neat.
