New H2 hoping to fly!!

Hi all,
Just wanted to introduce myself.

I am a new H2 (FL, FSL, CL, AT) , my name is Jon Brantley. I met several of you at Gary's house during the CHGPA meeting a month or so ago. I have been training regularly with John Middleton from late spring and thru the summer, did several scooter tows at Blue Sky with Steve Wendt and just got back from 11 wonderful days at Lookout Mountain (did my first mountain launches and aero tows).

I am really excited to start flying here at home and this Fri, Sat, Sun looks like a great weather opportunity! Are there any observers out there that would be willing to work with a new H2 and help me fly some of our mountain sites?? Along with being available to fly this weekend (and hopefully next weekend at Hyner) I am regularly available during the week as well. I am really looking forward to flying as much as possible so if you are heading out to fly and can observe a new H2 I would love to come along and learn and fly.

I read the "new H2 " instructions on the site and even though it says to just cold call observers, it seemed liked I should introduce myself on here first.

I'm not an observer, but just wanted to say welcome. Training with Lookout, John M. and Steve W., it sounds like you've been well prepared for your first mountain flights in our area.

Regarding midweek flying, try to connect with Steve Kinsley. Steve's not too active on the forum, so a direct approach would be best.
