I'm way overdue for CPR and 1st Aid retraining, but came across an item everyone should know about.
Look at the video at http://preview.tinyurl.com/2fx8r59 for
http://medicine.arizona.edu/spotlight/l ... ession-cpr
It seems that rapid chest compression only, with no pulse check, no mouth-to-mouth, but rapid start, is almost twice as effective in saving adult lives as traditional CPR as used to be taught by Red Cross and Heart Association. (I am not sure what those two groups teach now).
This look to be the same hands-only CPR that recent public service radio ads have been touting.
Watch the vid; spread the word.
