Due to freakishly light winds, nobody wants to risk the trip. I'll be very interested to see if Bacil is right about the soaring potential at Jack's this weekend.

There will be plenty of weekends this fall with reliable W/NW winds....
Sorry that they won't be doing a road-trip this weekend, but it makes
sense to come down when there's a high-percentage forecast.

Heck, maybe even the weekend of the Pulpit Fly-In, if Utah starts
looking iffy ...

I did urge the group to check out the Pulpit fly-in. Unfortunately (sort of) I'll be in Spain then. Many of the NY contingent have a trip to Utah planned in the weeks before, so not sure they'll be up for another one. But the seed has been planted, and I'll push it next year.
