Got back from Tejas yesterday, arriving at Tom's house around 12:30. Sky looked great so I called Highland. Adam confirmed that it was looking good, so I went straight to the Eastern shore. By the time I was set up a huge cloud had shut down lift at the airport. I waited a half hour and had Zac drag me into the sky. Found a couple of working clouds and topped out at 3600, base was a couple hundred higher. Had a blast, came down after about 30 minutes so I could get back early. Fun finishing touch on a flying vacation.
