Flying on 8/21

Post by silverwings »

Looks like it wont be teachable because of wind direction on Saturday, so considering Ridgely or Fisher Road (for PG) since Jacks is a bit far. Are PG's heading to Fisher on Saturday? Where are others thinking of going?

Hey,

If you are fli\ying down the ridge and get to the no-mans land of trees at before Ritchie's Knob, I have hit a thermal over the last landable field my last two flights there that has given me enough altitude to make it to the end of the ridge. The big square field behind the ridge at Ritchie's Knob is big enough to land a 747.

We're off to Dreaded Florida to visit family this weekend.

Thanks Tom for posting about Fisher. Think I will go to Ridgely instead.

Conditions were massively stable at Ridgely today. And virtually no wind. Took advantage of the situation to get back into the Talon for the first time in a year. Felt great.
