I am leaning to Highland on Sunday. The Pulpit may be good too, though.

WIll do. Thinking now is between Pulpit and Ridgely. Now it looks more North and a little stronger on the eastern shore. May be a day to go get a keg of beer.

Leaning to Ridgely right now.
Looks light/north for the Pulpit.

Got to the Pulpit sans glider around 12:15P. Light and north, with some straight in cycles. Put some streamers on the 3 sticks, anticipating the arrival of a few paraglider pilots. Plenty of TVs were around soaring in thermals in the valley. Keith Rosenberry showed up from Ft. Loudon, and we had a nice chat about him flying back in the late 80's and early 90's. Laszlo showed up with his wife, and did a sledder to the secondary around 3PM in light conditions, wowing the biker crowd that had migrated from the bar. I hit the road and stopped by Whitetail Ski Resort to get some exercise by climbing to the top. 710' ascent from the ski lift to the top. Nice view to the east. I wonder if it turned on for Laszlo later?

Showed up at Ridgely around noon thirty or so. Launched around 1430 and managed to thermal around the field for about 45 minutes before getting flushed.

Many club pilots were there. McGowan, Bunner, Proctor, Carlos, Batman. The top guns headed south. No idea if they managed to win that keg of beer for Highland.

Almost 6 hour drive for a 45 minute flight.

Good day for flying at Highland.
