Kickin' winds today. Arrived at the hill in ( ) to find SSE coming in at about 5-7 mph. Chris arrived shortly thereafter and I set my 225 wing up and he set up the 170. Winds began to increase to 10 mph. We both took flights and more flights. I got the longest-highest flying over the ditch and carcass of bones within it. Creepy. LOL. Will post video asap. Winds then increased to about 20 mph on hill. Tom took a flight in between strong cycles on his 195. Finally broke down as conditions increased even more. Broke glider down in the "flat" mode. Howie showed up later but didn't set up. Blown out. Left by 2pm. Field planted today so.....we're screwed until harvest time. So...last day on this hill until probably fall. Bummer.
That said it was good to get airborne. What a wonderful hill.
