Blue Sky Country Club

Post by RichH »

Imagine you live 45 min from a flying site..You pull into the parking lot step into the golf cart..You drive the golf cart over to the glider shed grab your glider place it on the back of the cart and casually drive over to the setup area. You set your glider up and its ready to go ..you wait under the shaded wait area and sip on cold drinks from the refrig..All the time waiting for conditions to improve,,You wait, enjoy conversation with your friends and when you notice conditions improving you walk your glider onto the back of the Blue Sky Tow Truck..You enjoy a smooth tow to 850' release and search for the thermal core and climb to the clouds..That was my day!! 4000 ft and about an hour of pure joy!! Several Others enjoyed the day Mike Cosner had a great flight to start the day climbing scratching and having a great flight..Peter Kane was on final several times only to look up and see he climbed his way into another low save!! Roger flew his new T2 and had a couple of good flights and several others enjoyed the day...Very Sweet!!

Rich - Awesome! Now pack up your glider and make plans for Woodstock tomorrow (early AM) and bring Mike with you. I'm looking forward to carving up some thermals with you!!

Great flight yesterday Rich, you made it look MUCH easier than it was, but what can I say, ground suck is my master.
(I can't attach you pix from landing yesterday? Is there a minimum number of posts required to upload pix/video?)
