Friday morning. Arrived at 6am. Perfectly still conditions. Setup. Students showed. By 7am we were taking advantage of silk conditions. Nice flights and glass air. By 8am winds began to gently waft up the hill at a blistering 2mph. By 8:30am we had NNE NE winds. Again....not exceeding much more than 2-3 mph. Nice.
Chris Hornberger worked on S turns. Howie Shank nailed the lower parking lot. Tom Allen nailed two stand-up landings. Fun "morning". By 10am winds picked up a bit. Early thermal burp. Very active conditions for about 15 minutes. Then died off to next to nothing but by then we were all done and all smiles. Good day considering the windy crap we've had to deal with lately. Gonna do this again next week too.
