High Rock Tshirt Design

Post by brianvh »

The new art for the High Rock 30th anniversary has arrived, by the hand of
the inimitable Tex Forrest:

We haven't settled on the prices yet (waiting for a quote) but will have
both short and long sleeved versions available.

As far as the cost for the fly-in, it's looking something like this:

food: $10 (we do MUCH more than burgers and dogs - and plan to do roast
meats for the omnivours with roasted portabello mushrooms for the veggies,
so everyone gets their money's worth).
beer: $5 - we only buy the good stuff, like sam adams.
Saturday Flying fee/weekend camping fee: $10 - This ensures the carbaughs
get their cut regardless of the weather. This time we will bring the log
book to dinner so people will remember to log saturday flights.

Add that up, that's $25 for the full ticket. We will offer ala-carte
registration for those who don't drink beer, don't fly or camp, etc, but
to reduce the programming burden on poor Ralph only the full registration
will be offered electronically.
For those who think this is alot, remember
1. the donation per flying day has increased since last year
2. It's a fundraiser to keep the site going, not a fast food resturant.
We really only offer the food, beer, tshirts, raffles etc. to help you get in
the mood to part with your money for a good cause.

There will be some amazing CD retrospectives on sale done by Sparky, and a
raffle with items you won't see at other fly-ins.

We hope to have all registration materials up in a week or so,
but until then check the web page:

If anyone deserves credit other than Tex (and he deserves 99% of the
credit) it should go to Sparky - I see he asked Tex to combine several
items that we liked from a set of designs. I just posted the thing.
