Blue Sky / Tax Day!!

Post by RichH »

Deceided to head to Blue Sky knew the forecast wasn't great but you never know! Arrived at 11:30 am set up and got ready..Peter Kane showed up after noon and was hopeful as well, especially since the rest of the week is looking a bit questionable for truck towing..I launched and was quickly flushed and deceided to wait to let the sun heat things up a bit further..Launched again at 2pm and hit a workable bubble at 700' made a few circles before losing it and landing. Peter launched next hit a small thermal at about the same altitude and did a masterful job of working it very slowly up to 2000' where it collapsed..Peter got 45min to an hour or so...beautiful day..glad I went..

RichH-- who are you????

I thought you were Richard Hays-- however he's never launched from the slot at the Pulpit and doesn't go all the way down to Blue Sky-- perhaps Rick Holtz???

...and soon to owe me $200 for a bet he made regarding a 200-mile x-c flight in the east of which 60% (?) will involve ridge-running.
