Tires - specially engineered for hang gliding vehicles i.e. 45K warranty.

reason for selling:
after going through two sets of performance tires @ 20K per set, 'decided to go conservative. problem is that they don't 'turn in' as quickly and smoothly. also the 'break point' between lateral grip and slip is more abrupt and diminishes performance and enjoyment when sliding around tight corners while evading police (WRX: high g's on skid pad and 0 to 60 in 5.3 seconds).

very low mileage - only driven five thousand miles (to church on sundays) (the 5K miles is true).

no racing except from red light to red light, but as my WRX has all-wheel drive the tires have never been spun. no flat spots from brake lockup as the anti-lock system has never been turned off.
