Joe Schad and I hiked 'em in and flew. We are both recently 67 and we have a pact: Hike 'em in and fly for our 70th. Three years to go. Projecting current rates of decline ... we are hopeful. Actually, hiking 'em in doesn't appear to be getting significantly more difficult for either of us. However, I am concerned about the FAA's proposed Dental Standards for Hang Glider Pilots.
Anyway, it was a pretty good day; reasonably straight in and strong enough to stay aloft in the ridge lift. 1300 over. Gorgeous out there. Colors are at their height.
