tater hill columbus day weekend

Next weekend is a holiday weekend for some of us. I'm considering going to Boone NC to Tater Hill to fly the paraglider. It looks like a fabulous site with a wide open launch. See http://www.flytaterhill.com/About%20Tater.html.

I spoke with the site owner Bubba when I drove through the general area last june. He seems like a really nice guy. If I can stir up any interest on here I'll contact him and make arrangements weather and his plans permitting. I think it's about a 6 hour drive. I'll drive and carpool.

I just spoke with Bubba at Tater Hill. He'd love to have us this coming weekend. He said "bring em on down, the more the better." He's hoping to get some use out of the site before winter sets in.
