Anyone know the flight restrictions at Frederick Municipal Airport.
It would be a great place to tow.

Re: Frederick Municipal Airport
M-ASA (one of the local sailplane clubs) has as one of their two sites operating out of FDK; the other is at Fairfield. We've been at FDK for over 20 years. The airport authority has been generally trying to kick us out. Our lease expires in a few years and we are trying to get it renewed... we'll see where that goes.
Actually, FDK is very busy with local airplane traffic and big stuff coming in over the city and there-abouts setting up for Dulles at 5 to 6K MSL.
While it is a public airport and they really can't immediately say "no", they can (and will likely) claim safety concerns and generally make it difficult to pursue HG towing there.
There are plenty of smaller, ultralight-friendly airports around. I would fish there for a more local towing location.
