Re: High Rock 30th Anniversary Slideshow
That would be Fred and Raeane Permenter. It was a Saturday, mid-May, 2004. I remember that day well. It started out rainy and overcast but cleared about noon just in time for the ceremony. The preacher was deadly afraid of heights which made for a bit of irony him standing on the cube with his back to the valley. The plan was for Fred and Rae to fly off tandem followed by, in succession, the wedding party (Vic Ayers, me, Brad Hays, and Richard Hays.) By cermony's end the wind had ramped up so he had to launch solo. Rae was not yet mountain flying at the time so she joined the reception in the LZ by car. The flying that day was incredible as was the well attended party in the LZ that went into the wee hours.
Phorida Phred and Rae recently celebrated their 25th anniversary with a 2 week, open water kayak and camping trip in the Florida Keys.

I think Danny meant 1984, rather than 2004, assuming their 25th anniversary is in two weeks. Congrats Fred and Rae Ann!!

UR right! It was 1984. Pretty cool seeing so many fresh versions of the old-timers, all in pre-digital photo capture!
Thanks again Spark!
