Does anybody know if there is a HG launch near Route 26, just south of State College, Pa?
If yes, what direction does it face?
Question, I know someone who lives on Water Street (Route 26) and who said that there was HG in his area. I think he'd be very amused if I landed in his backyard one of these days. I looked at satellite photos and it seems like there could be a take off, just down the street from him?

Re: hg launch near State College?
there's Pleasant Gap on 26, but that's 10 miles to the east of State College. 90% chance of Pagen being there since it's the closest site to him, he can go over the back and land by his house. NNW.
Pleasant Gap isn't the best site because the status of the LZ is questionable due to construction (may already be gone). If you're in State College you may as well go to Hyner, but you won't make it to your friend's backyard. There's also the Superbowl and Kennedy (both are eastish of State College) but they both require a lot of local guidance to find. Actually, they all do except Hyner.
