Smithsburg on 3/22

Students and I arrived at 11:15 to light variable conditions. I had 4 women (3 first timers) and 3 men students. Also two others (Peter, Chris A) were there during the day. Conditions improved mid afternoon and everybody had their fill. It was great getting Ward Odenwald back in the air after so many years. Overall a pretty good teaching day. The landing area has grass now and is much nicer that just dirt and corn stubs.
