March can be a tough call down here. A couple of years back, I remember having only three "flyable" days for the whole month. But so far, it's been damn good here lately. Davis Straub, Dustin Martin, John Chambers myself and others have flown 40 to 50 mile out and return tasks (triangles, out and backs) for three of the last four days and we only missed the off day cause we were tired. Today, a bunch of guys went downwind for big miles but I couldn't join them because I got stuck with towing duties. Super rowdy conditions made launching extra interesting but everyone got away safely (some with more than one attempt) and I learned the joy of trying to keep a Dragonfly right side up while landing in strong winds and huge thermals. Woo Hoo!!!!
Hope to see some of you down here soon or at the ECC.
