Got new a Season Pass at the gate. The Ranger said the gate at the Dickey's Ridge Visitor Ctr. was closed. :(

There was 1"-2" of slushy snow still on the ground as hiked my harness in with fingers crossed. It's a good mile hike up on the trail from the closed gate. On at least 3 occasions Mitch Shipley and I have hiked in with harnss and glider from this point with snow on the ground it's a hump

It was coming in but very gusty 10-20, not good for Dickey's. :( Nice day though.

Tom , Joe, Mr. Snarkey  you didn't miss anything today...

Daniel's

A few PGs, including a new P2, had early moning flights at Daniel's today. Karen and I arrived at 2:30 to find in howling. It backed off around 4:30 and Hugh launched his HG, followed by me in my PG. Boated around at 2-300 over. Tomas followed about twenty minutes after my launch in his PG.... and then it totally shut down. Still, Tomas and I managed to scratch above the ridge for another ten minutes. Ellis scraped her way out of the slot in her PG with a forward for an extendo. I got about 35 minutes.
