Hi Matt,
Dave, Nelson and I went out today with some luck. After a clear morning it clouded over solid when we arrived at noon. On launch; a base of 5-8mph and temps in the upper teens. I launched at 2 after we'd seen 20 minutes of sun and climbed in broken thermals, maxing out at 741' over launch in a 800fpm thermal, then got a nice low save over the pine forest. Overcast returned after 30 minutes and I landed with numb extremities. Dave got a sledder.
I'm keeping an eye on tomorrow - we should take advantage of the warm weather
plus flying in snow is fun...
