Because of a recent problem at Daniels the Central Virginia Hang Gliding Association is forced to warn pilots that if trees are cut outside of the property boundary of the site the offending pilots will be asked not to fly Daniels. Nelson Lewis 434)996-7879

I called Nelson yesterday when I saw the post. He doesn't know who did it, but some (two? three?) trees below the launch cutout were cut. He was out there on Sunday and saw the damage. I asked whether we should still try to get the fellow who has done site maintenance before to come out and he said that was OK. Is that guy a pilot? Nelson says if he's not an USHPA pilot, we would have to pay workmen's comp... - Hugh
